How to apply:

1.The examination fee is mentioned in the vacancy table. The examination fee should be paid in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order(s) from any Post Office or Crossed A/C Payee Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of ,The Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati . The candidate must write his/ her Name, Full Address, Category No., Post and Employment Notice No. on the IPO(s)/ DD
2. Candidate may download the format from website in A4 size 80 GSM paper (Bond Paper) The application should be filled in by the applicant him/ herself with a ball point pen (Blue or Black) in English or Hindi. Name of the applicant, address, date of birth, name of the father, nearby railway station should be also written in English Capital Letters. The signature in the form should not be in big letters. The candidate should attach a passport size colour photo taken within 3 months. One more copy of the photo should be in sent along with the application. The candidate must write his/ her Name & Category No on the reverse of the photograph.
3. The candidate should also attach the following documents with the application :
(a) Original of DD/ Postal Order (b) Self attested copy of matriculation certificate for age proof (c) Self attested copies of certificates showing eligibility (d) Self attested copy of Caste certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC). (e) Candidates applying for the post of Pilot should attach the original copy from an Eye Specialist (taken within 6 months) (f) Handicapped/ Ex service- related certificate .(g) Government/ Public Sector Employees – related certificates (as per the rules) (h) Candidates who are eligible for age concession should attach certificate proving this.
